Curiouser and curiouser. How did Simon really die? Odd that Victor should say that death was probably almost instantaneous. Very suspicious.
So now we know Simon didn’t die in the fall. We also have to question why his equipment was faulty. Deliberate? Or was the missing couple’s report
truthful? So many questions! A true mystery!
As always, thank you for taking part and for all your comments. It’s wonderful to see you getting involved.
Really enjoying this! Twists and turns galore and very atmospheric. I’ve just read Emails 3-6 in one sitting and really looking forward to the next instalment. Thank you so much for this excellent adventure!
You’re very welcome.
What a great idea to do an email mystery. I can never guess what might happen. Outcomes are always a surprise to me. Really enjoying this. cant wait for email 7!
Ooh, the plot thickens! I think that with the rescue team so divided, the truth will out because of this. Someone will break rank once questions are asked by the authorities.
I suspect something went wrong during Simon’s rescue – a bad call on Victor’s part? – and they are trying to cover it up. I don’t know anything about mountain rescue, so I could be wrong, but I would have thought that losing track of a member to begin with was their first mistake. Perhaps the second mistake was the means by which they were attempting to rescue Simon once they found him? And that was what ultimately led to his death?
Thank you so much for this series! I am enjoying it immensely, and keep checking my email in anticipation of the next message from Alan. I do miss Dan, though – I quite like him!
Thank you. I’m so glad you’re enjoying the story. I love your ideas – really interesting to see your take on the mystery.
It was strange making Dan take a back seat, but I enjoyed letting Alan have his moment in the limelight.
So far these are all from Alan to Dan. Will there be any from Dan’s perspective commenting back to Alan or Dan offering suggestions on what Alan could possibly do?
Hi. These messages are all from Alan because I’m trying to create the feeling that you are playing the part of Dan. You can often work out what Dan said by Alan’s response. I hope you enjoy it ☺️
Completely fun. And I do find myself trying to reason out what Alan should maybe try [though I am no where near as clever as Dan by a long shot]. And thank you for this wonderful treat!
Happy to hear you’re enjoying it.
Well, no one asked for MY opinion but I think he should contact the police with this info. BMK
A fair point. Although we do know that the police are overstretched at this point, I’ll have a look at the email and see if I need to change it.
