Let Me Entertain You

I’m author Michael Campling - Mikey to friends - and I’m here to share short pieces of writing to uplift and entertain. They’re the kind of thing you can read while you sip your morning coffee or your mug of tea.

There’ll also be some short fiction and I might decide to post some serial fiction too.

This substack is for all the extra pieces I may write, i.e. pieces that don’t naturally fit anywhere else, but it isn’t my main author newsletter.

Who am I?

I’m best known for the Devonshire Mysteries, and I’m lucky enough to live and work in the glorious county of Devon, so I’ll be posting photos while I’m out and about, such as these:
