For a while, I’ve been recording informal chats as I walk through the Devon fields with Lottie, and they began as exclusively for members.

But as I fell into a routine of recording a chat every week, it seemed sensible to offer the recordings in a way that everyone would find easy to access. The best way to deliver regular audio updates is via podcasts because there are lots of ways for listeners to follow along, so I went for it.

I’ve set up podcasts before, but even so, the business of getting them going is generally a bit fraught. But we’re there now, and you can listen via your favourite podcast app, your phone, your smart speaker, even your smart TV.

Searching for ‘Michael Campling podcast’ will find it for you, but it may also turn up my old podcast for writers (writing talk podcast) which I haven’t updated for a long time, although I would like to restart it.

Chats with Michael Campling, author of the Devonshire Mysteries

I’ll still be posting the chats on this site, so you don’t have to do anything different. It’s all about giving you a choice.

I hope you enjoy listening, and if you have anything you’d like me to talk about, please comment or drop me a line – you can always reply to a newsletter.
