My runs are taking me through the winding lanes of Devon and up to the local reservoirs.
Bearing in mind the poem, Leisure by William Henry Davies:
What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
I decided to stop and take a few photos. I hope you enjoy them.

The poor reservoir looks a little low. I looked in vain for a bird in the tree. Was there a bird in the tree when you took the photo? Nice country lane shot.
“I came among these hills; when like a roe
I bounded o’er the mountains, by the sides
Of the deep rivers, and the lonely streams…”
Thanks. I don’t recall seeing birds in the trees, but I could hear them singing.
