At last I’m getting back to work, so the featured photos should be rolling out regularly, usually every week.
I took these on a Boxing Day trip to Teignmouth. It was a gloriously sunny day although there was a chill breeze. It was certainly bracing and a great way to blow the cobwebs away after all the eating and drinking of the day before. The light, to coin a phrase, was fantastic.
I hope you all had a restful and enjoyable time over the holiday season, and a huge Happy New Year from Sue, Lottie and me.
We’re going to need a bigger boat.
There’s something fishy here.

Lottie, exhausted after the excitement of opening (and devouring) her Christmas present. The tasty chew was no match for her teeth.

What a gorgeous day!
Maybe someday we’ll see your photos of the ammonite and nautilus fossils on Monmouth Beach. Someday. No pressure. If you’re ever around there. Lottie might like the walk.
Thanks for the tip. I love hunting for fossils, so I must put that on my list of places to visit. I’ve been to the other Monmouth in Wales, but I need to explore Dorset more, especially since it isn’t far from home.
Hope you’re keeping well.
