From time to time I mention the River Teign (pronounced ‘Teen’) in the Devonshire Mysteries, so here are some photos of a stretch of the upper Teign on a sunny summer’s day.
The path runs through a nature reserve that consists of an unspoilt woodland – a lovely cool place for a walk on a hot day.
I hope you like the photos.

Beautiful! Reminds me of the property my parents had when I was young. Peaceful creek running through it, shade, I’d love to hear the birdsongs!
Thank you for sharing these.
Thanks. That sounds like a lovely memory.
Gorgeous So peaceful Would love to find a place to sit and read
Yes, that would be perfect.
Looks refreshing. During this time of year in New England a location like this would attract so many mosquitos that a visitor would run away screaming.
Thanks. Not to many mosquitoes in this neck of the woods. We get pesky midges around the lakes, especially at dusk, and they like to bite.
