J’accuse!
Here we are at last.
The denouement.
Were you surprised? Vindicated?
If you got it right, you’ve done very well indeed.
If you were almost there, you can pat yourself on the back.
Everyone else, I hope you enjoyed the story.
There’s still one more email from Alan to come, and there’ll be an afterword from me.
As usual, your comments are welcome. Please make sure that you don’t reveal anything about this episode to anyone else – we don’t want any spoilers.
That explains my earlier query as to why Roger, Tim, and Anita went to Blackingstone Rock to look for Simon, when that’s not where Verity and Mark had found him. They were lied to by Roger.Quick thinking chap, Roger, as well as flouting the law regarding the confinement of poultry. Beautifully tied up, Mikey, what a great storyteller and wordsmith you are. But I knew that already.
Thank you so much for all your kind words and encouragement. You made my day. Thanks for all your comments too and for giving the story a go.
I had no idea. Great ending. Thank yiuy
Thank you for taking part. I’m glad you enjoyed it.
I had picked up on the earlier clue about the rare birds and therefore later who the killer might be, but had no idea exactly why or how, or why the body was moved. For me that is perfect, as I feel good that I had an idea, but nothing was obvious until the very end so the suspense was maintained.
The way Alan (with Dan’s help) set up the trap was genius!
Such a clever story and the format was excellent. Thank you so much!
I’m so pleased that you’re enjoying the twists and turns. Well done for spotting the clues.
Great story, I had an idea of who it was, but no idea why. Very good ending. I really enjoyed this format.
That’s great to hear. Thank you for reading along.
What a great ending but is a shame that ppl will lie and kill just to protect their reputation. I was close to figuring out though the phone was a interesting catch Thanks
Thank you very much. I’m very glad you enjoyed the ending – always a tricky part of any mystery. If you were close to working it out, then I guess it was about right. I try not to make the endings so wild that no one could believe them. Hopefully, the answer was just out of reach and you feel that you could’ve got there yourself if only you’d had another clue.
Well done, sir! Thank you for the thoughtfully planned out story. Loved it!
Thank you for taking part. It’s wonderful to hear that you liked it so much. It makes it all worthwhile.
