So, Dan obviously has some ideas of his own, and he hasn’t seen fit to fill Alan in.
But Alan is still working away, revealing new information.
What do you make of the latest clues?
There’s more detail on some of the characters, so there’s more for you to think about.

It seems accepted that Verity and Mark found Simon first, in the woods, not at the foot of Blackingstone Rock. So why, after they’d reached the farm and told their story, did Roger, Anita, and Tim head for Blackingstone Rock? They seemed to have focused their search there and not further afield. Of course, once they saw the thermal blanket, they would assume that they’d found the spot where Simon had been lying.
Lots of extra information this time, and I’m intrigued by Dan’s interest in the man Alan met after he’d found the flowers left by Verity and Mark.
I’m none the wiser. Who/how dud Simon and the blanket move? Roger sounds dodgy. We will see
You’ll find out eventually.
As I said once before, things are getting stranger and stranger. Especially troubling are the different accounts of just where Simon died. And now we have two visitors with ties to Simon’s past. Coincidence? Then there is the mystery about the blanket. At least now we know there really was one. And what about the ‘bog’. Was this an excuse to delay them? Why did Roger want to travel on alone? To give him time to–what? He definitely needs looking into.
All excellent questions. Sorry I didn’t reply sooner, but I have been out of action. Glad to hear you are having fun with the story.
I’m as confused as Alan but it sounds like Dan has got some ideas!
Yes, Dan doesn’t always share his ideas.
